Freelance HR Specialist

We’re looking for a versatile freelance HR specialist — someone who can confidently navigate everything from policy development and recruitment to performance management and transformation planning.

This is a flexible, project-based role ideal for an independent professional who thrives on variety, adapts quickly to client needs, and delivers high-impact HR solutions across sectors.

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine HR policies tailored to client needs and legal frameworks

• Lead or support recruitment and selection processes

• Design and implement performance management systems

• Contribute to transformation planning and governance initiatives

• Provide advisory support on compliance, audits, and workforce strategy

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in HR consulting, policy development, and recruitment

• Strong understanding of South African labour law and governance principles

• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and engage with diverse clients

• Exceptional communication skills and a strategic mindset

• Experience across sectors (corporate, nonprofit, entrepreneurial) is a plus

Education: Relevant HR Degree

Experience: Solid HR workplace experience
