Entrants notified: Monday 13th May 2024
Successful entrant fee is $65
Delivery of selected work by: Tuesday 1st August 2024
Exhibition opens for viewing: 16th September 2024
Award night celebration and presentations: Thursday 3rd October 2024
Exhibition closes: Thursday 11th October 2024
Artist work shipped by: Friday 18th October 2024 and artist work paid for within 30 days of close of exhibition
Graduate Metal 16 is a juried survey exhibition with prizes awarded. To be eligible for consideration, graduates need to enter works created in their final year of study in an Australian or New Zealand UNDERGRADUATE tertiary course. They need to have completed a Diploma, Associate Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Undergraduate, Honours degree or Certificate Qualification in jewellery and/or metalsmithing since the last JMGA Biennial Conference in Melbourne in July 2017.
Therefore, Graduate Metal 16, will be a selection of works from undergraduate students that completed their final year during anytime from 2017-2023
The following information is required to complete this form:
- Up to 3 images of one piece of work (or series of one work) being submitted preferably on a white background and including one (1) image that must indicate the scale of the work/s. No larger than 1mb each
- Images submitted to be titled as follows: Artist Name and Title
- An artist CV (max one page)
- An artist statement (max 150 words)
- Evidence of year graduated. (eg. Copy of degree, letter from course co-ordinator) No larger than 1m, pdf or jpeg
