Beyond Productivity: AI, Community, and Sustainability in Open Source Software
This one-day workshop at the Conference for Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) will bring together researchers and practitioners to examine how generative AI and agentic coding are reshaping open source software communities. We will focus on newcomer participation, maintainer burden, trust, and the sustainability of open source collaboration, but are open to any CSCW issue as it relates to the subject of the workshop. The purpose of this form is to collect information from individuals interested in participating in the workshop. We ask that participants fill out this form and submit a brief position paper (up to 2 pages) expressing their interest, expertise, and/or experience related to workshop topics.
